Honey Bun, Tassy trying to find homes

Honey Bun is just as sweet as her name implies. She is a 4-year-old, 55- to 60-pound bassett hound retired from life as a puppy maker. She is startled easily so a quiet home will be best. She needs another calm, confident dog in the home and a patient family to help her come out of her shell. Honey Bun does her business outside but has had some accidents. Overall, she is a pretty laid-back girl who just wants lots of attention and a soft place to sleep. She does get the zoomies and is more confident outside, so a fenced-in yard is perfect. While she can handle stairs slowly, the fewer the better and they need to be carpeted so she doesn’t slip. Want to know more about Honey Bun? Email info@homeatlastdogrescue.com. ••

Holiday Tassy (aka Tassy) arrived with her mom and siblings. Tassy is a sweet and sassy little lady who will make her opinions heard. She has traditional golden hamster markings, including her little cap marking on the top of her head that almost looks like it was made in 8-bit graphics. She doesn’t mind being pet or brought out of her enclosure, but once out she is ready to go on an adventure. She will stay for as long as there are treats or sunflower seeds being offered but once they stop she is off to find the fun. Tassy is looking for a home that will provide her with a lot of attention and interaction.

Holiday Tassy is being fostered in Edgewater Park, New Jersey along with several of her siblings.

Hamsters are crepuscular creatures. Like many other mammals, hamsters are more likely to be awake and active at dawn or dusk. This isn’t to say that some hamsters don’t ever stay awake all night. Much like humans, individual hamsters have their own sleep patterns. They aren’t all awake and playful at exactly the same time. This does mean you may not get quality time with them since most won’t wake up until evening.
