Donations will be accepted on Monday, March 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“The images we see on television each and every night from Ukraine are simply gut-wrenching,” said Lodge 5 President John McNesby. “We wanted to roll up our sleeves and help those residents fleeing their homes and communities. The need for supplies is simply overwhelming and we hope our small gesture will provide some relief.”

The donations will then be transported to the Burholme-based United Ukrainian American Relief Committee, and prepped for delivery to the Poland/Ukraine border.

Items for donation include soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, sanitary products, baby wipes/diaper creams, socks, napkins/wet/dry, batteries, sanitizers, razors, hand/feet warmers, gloves/mittens, first-aid supplies, flashlights, trash bags and underwear.

No food will be collected at this drive. ••
