The Block Gives Back held a fundraising beef and beer on Friday night at the Philadelphia Ballroom, 2014 Hornig Road.
The evening featured music, dancing, raffles, a 50/50, door prizes and a merchandise table.
The Block holds weekly feedings outside its office at 6831 Torresdale Ave.
Now that the weather is nicer, it will begin a series of cleanups of blocks and parks. ••
