Steamfitters 420 showcases apprentice training program

Steamfitters Local 420, under the direction of business manager Jim Snell, hosted an Industry Day on March 23.

There was a reception and luncheon for more than 200 contractors, labor leaders, business executives and elected officials, who were able to see Local 420’s state-of-the-art apprentice training program.

Among those in attendance were National Association of Building Trades Unions President Sean McGarvey, Mayor Jim Kenney, U.S. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, University of Pennsylvania Health System CEO Kevin Mahoney, Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer and state Reps. Mike Driscoll and Ed Neilson.
