Widener University, in partnership with WCAU-TV NBC10 and Telemundo62, recognized the 107 winners of the Widener University High School Leadership Awards. They include Robert Roman, who attends Franklin Towne Charter and has made a difference by volunteering to encourage others to get involved in school activities, participating in the school mentor program, and excelling academically; Keziah Abraham, who attends Philadelphia Academy Charter School and has led the school’s efforts to get students vaccinated against COVID-19, including working at the school’s vaccination clinics and canvassing local neighborhoods; Daniel Dailey III, who attends Roman Catholic and has acted as an ambassador for prospective students, serving as a leader in his school’s Community Service Corps, and volunteering his free time to those in need; and Nyannah Harden, who attends West Catholic and volunteers after hours at school, actively participating in the Ambassador Club and advocating for her fellow students. ••
