Little Flower principal leaves

Colette Weber

Little Flower High School principal Colette Weber has resigned. Her last day was today.

In a letter to the Little Flower community, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia said Weber was leaving to pursue other career opportunities.

The letter said, “Please be assured that the administrative team at Little Flower, in conjunction with the Office of Catholic Education, is committed to providing a seamless transition. Together they will ensure a smooth end to the 2021-2022 academic year.  We will also initiate a broad and inclusive search process to identify the best possible candidate to serve Little Flower and its community as your next principal.”

Weber’s resignation follows the abrupt departure of president Jeane McNamara in February.

McNamara hired Weber for the start of the 2020-21 academic year.

Weber, a native of England, was head of the English department at George School before going to LF, replacing Sister Kathleen Klarich, who retired after 25 years. ••
