Police have identified the victim in Sunday morning’s murder in Burholme as Latoya Maria McNear, 29, of the 4200 block of N. 8th St. in Hunting Park.
On Sunday, at about 2:03 a.m., 2nd Police District officers responded to a disturbance outside of Chuck’s Alibi, 7301 Oxford Ave. Officers found McNear suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, and transported her to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 2:25 a.m.
Police recovered a weapon, and an arrest was made. The alleged motive was an argument. ••
