International Christian High School’s Class of 2022 graduated during a ceremony last Friday at Cairn University.
This year commemorates the school’s 50th graduating class since it was originally founded. Mr. William Mattner, Class of ’72, was recognized as being a member of the first graduating class, and he currently serves as faculty in the math department at International Christian, 5500 Tabor Ave. in Lawncrest.
Among the 27 graduates, 16 students started their tenure at the school as freshmen. Two international students were unable to attend the commencement ceremonies since they were returning to their native home for the first time since arriving in the states pre-COVID.
Members of the 2022 graduating class of ICHS are Nicolas Amaya, Marques Bennett, Genesis Blakney, Fernando Cargua, Anh Do, Dan Doan, Natalia Guillen, Iyonnah Haywood, Kristen Iles, Nashaliz Jimenez, Saniya Lafalaise, Stephon Lafalaise, Ngan Le, Monineth Mam, Alina McClendon, Hannah Pothen, Joshua Owens, Elijah Smith, Gavin Smith, Cecil Stith, Jordon Thompson, Kelia Vertreace, Jayden Wilson, Angel Wright and Jeffrey Young. ••
