The University of Rhode Island announced that Maureen Kennedy has been named to the spring 2022 dean’s list. To be included on the dean’s list, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. ••

Christopher Hope has been named to the University of Delaware dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the dean’s list, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester. ••

Zarina Shavkatova made the spring 2022 dean’s list at Missouri State University. Shavkatova was among more than 4,700 students named to the list. For undergraduate students, criteria include enrollment in at least 12 credit hours during the spring semester and at least a 3.50 GPA (on a 4.00 scale). ••

Grace Brown was named to the spring 2022 dean’s list at Washington College (Maryland). In order to earn this academic honor, a student must achieve at least a 3.50 GPA for the semester. There were 461 students named to the spring 2022 dean’s list. ••

Valeriy Kim graduated from York College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. ••

The following DeSales University students made the spring 2022 dean’s list: Taylor L. Grabowski (computer science), Erica Lee Lazar (medical studies), Breana Cahill (sport and exercise physiology and dance), Brynn Marie Cooney (nursing), Mariel Sajan (medical studies), Molly Elizabeth McMahon (nursing) and Aislinn Marie McFadden (exploratory studies). ••

More than 2,000 undergraduate students at Coastal Carolina University were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester. Students who make the dean’s list have achieved a grade point average of 3.5-3.99 for the semester. This semester’s honored students included Hailey Barton (exercise and sport science) and Lindsay Erwin (management). ••

Widener University recently awarded degrees to its graduate students. Graduates included Michael Joseph Murphy (Doctor of Nursing Practice), Gladys Charlemagne (Master of Science in Nursing), Angela Modica (Master of Social Work), Taneka Villanueva (Master of Social Work), Monique Caryll Allen (Master of Social Work) and Kripaya Varghese (Master of Social Work). ••

The following local students graduated with nursing degrees from Ohio University: Jenise Quiles, Shakera Roberts and Amanda Valentino. ••

Lehigh University in May conferred 1,092 bachelor’s degrees. Local graduates were Mike Beaumont (art & design, with high honors), Michelina Beaumont (biology, high honors), Tasnim Chowdhury (political science and sociology, with honors), Holly Guinan (biology and health, medicine, with honors), Yariel Henriquez (music), Brandon Lima (civil engineering, high honors) and Era Shuaipi (mechanical engineering). ••

Ohio University College of Health Sciences and Professions student Ayodeji Ogundare has been named to the spring 2022 dean’s list. More than 4,400 students qualified for the list. Ohio students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester with a schedule of classes totaling at least 15 hours, 12 of which were taken for letter grades, to achieve this distinction. ••
