The Northeast Philadelphia Development Corporation on Sunday hosted a “Mid-Autumn Night Market” on the 7300 block of Frankford Ave.

The event featured cultural dances, Chinese martial arts, Asian music, food, games, crafts, face painting, a moonbounce, firecrackers and more. A large crowd attended despite the rain. Frankford Avenue was closed from Cottman Avenue to Aldine Street.

Among those in attendance were City Councilman Mike Driscoll, state Sens. Tina Tartaglione and Jim Dillon, state Rep. Joe Hohenstein and legislative candidates Pat Gallagher and Anthony Bellmon. ••
