Annamarie Feeney, senior constituent services staffer for U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle, last week received the 2022 Democracy Award for Staff Lifetime Achievement for exemplary public service by the Congressional Management Foundation. Feeney is in her 35th year on the job, having worked for former Reps. Bob Borski, Joe Hoeffel and Allyson Schwartz.
“Annamarie Feeney is a true one-of-a-kind constituent services representative,” Boyle said. “Her experience, knowledge of the federal bureaucracy and calm manner have made her an invaluable member of my district office team. Over the years, I have had dozens upon dozens of constituents pull me aside to share with me how Annamarie’s personal touch and attention was pivotal in helping them resolve the issue that they brought to my office. She is truly deserving of this national award. I am extremely proud of her accomplishments.”
Feeney, who received her award at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., has been an employee of the U.S. House since 1987. She has worked for Boyle since 2015. She has helped several thousand individuals and organizations with all manner of government issues. During that span, it’s estimated that she personally has helped save or recover millions of dollars on behalf of Pennsylvania constituents. With Boyle alone, she has opened more than 5,000 individual constituent cases and recovered or saved over $1 million on behalf of constituents. ••
