Running, walking to support St. Hubert

The St. Hubert Alumnae Association on Saturday morning held its first 5K Run – 1 Mile Family Walk in Pennypack Park.

Denise Krenski and Kristen Lepkowski, both class of 1991, chaired the event, with Pretzel City Sports as the official timer.

Proceeds will go to wellness programs for students.

Medals were given to the top three males and females in various age groups.

The day included a DJ, and St. Hubert’s national champion cheerleaders greeted runners at the finish line. School president Lizanne Pando walked the course, and city election commission chairwoman Lisa Deeley (class of ‘84) sang the Star-Spangled Banner. The Bambie mascot also made an appearance.
