Brilliant Stars Learning Center, 800 Cottman Ave., Suite 3-4, in Burholme, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
The motto of the center is, “Bright From the Start.”
The afternoon featured raffles, popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, hot sausage, cupcakes, snacks, a visit by the Engine 56 fire truck and a prayer before the ribbon was cut.
ABM Construction performed much of the renovation work.
The center cares for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
