Members of the Knights of Columbus (St. John Neumann Assembly #933) recently went to the Delaware Valley Veterans Home, 2701 Southampton Road, to say thank you. The Knights supplied residents with ice cream and all the toppings for a sundae. They played bingo with the veterans, giving out $100 worth of prizes, which were gift certificates to their canteen.
Also, the veterans were given posters thanking them for their service, drawn by students from St. Matthew School, 3040 Cottman Ave. The posters were hung throughout the building. ••
