The Officer Daniel Boyle Scholarship Fund this year was able to provide more than 40 scholarships totaling $57,779 to Archbishop Ryan students. The scholarship fund has now been given to more than 1,200 students and awarded over $750,000 to Ryan students to assist with tuition. Daniel Boyle was a Somerton resident, Ryan graduate and 26th Police District officer who was killed in the line of duty in 1991 at age 21. ••
