Short and stout Berti is a French bulldog found tied up in the freezing rain with his brother who has since been adopted. He is fully blind but you would barely notice because he navigates himself very well. He would love to live with another dog who likes to wrestle like he does, but overall would just like to spend his days sleeping and snoring away. Overall he is a couch potato with occasional bursts of energy. Berti is the kind of dog who gets so excited when someone pays attention to him that he wiggles with joy. He loves to be pet and be held. He will also crack you up with his silly ways like insisting on sitting in his box of toys or on top of his cage. He does need a special food to help with his digestion but it is not much more expensive than regular dog food. He gets along with cats mostly because he can’t see them but does bark at them sometimes. Due to his history of neglect and blindness, he is still perfecting house breaking but he does use puppy pads and does well going outside in the yard when he’s on a regular schedule. He does need to eat his food away from other dogs because in his past it seems like food was a limited resource. All he wants is love.
