Police identified Neko Rivera, 15, as the victim in Monday’s shooting death on the 6100 block of Algon Ave., in the Oxford Village housing project.
Police said 2nd District officers responded at 12:06 p.m. to a radio call for a “person with a gun.”
Upon arrival, they located Rivera, of the 2200 block of N. 2nd St. in Norris Square, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.
The victim was transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased at 12:41 p.m.
There has been no arrest, and the Homicide Unit is investigating.
