State Sen. Jim Dillon (D-5th dist.) on Monday opened a second office at 10007 Ferndale St.
“I’m excited to be up here,” Dillon said. “The office should be a great asset.”
Dillon also has an office on the east side of Roosevelt Boulevard, at 12361 Academy Road.
Both offices are open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and offer notary services. The phone numbers are 215-695-1020 for the Ferndale Street office and 215-281-2539 for the Academy Road office.
Congregations of Shaare Shamayim Rabbi Sandra Berliner and the Rev. Joseph Campellone offered prayers and blessings.
Among those on hand were Superior Court Judge Dan McCaffery, a candidate for Supreme Court; former U.S. Rep. Bob Brady; state Sen. Steve Santarsiero; state Reps. Ed Neilson, Kevin Boyle, Joe Hohenstein, Pat Gallagher, Anthony Bellmon and Jose Giral; Damaris Garcia, a candidate for Common Pleas Court; Jacques Lurie, executive director of Shaare Shamayim; and representatives of Fox Chase Town Watch and Homeowners Association, The Block Gives Back and the Northeast Philadelphia Development Corporation.
Dillon will hold a Senior Expo on Thursday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at MaST Community Charter School III, 1 Crown Way. ••
