St. Martin of Tours Church on Sunday celebrated its 100th anniversary.

The day started with tours of the elementary school and light refreshments in the gym.

A Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Edward Adams.

The celebration continued at Cannstatter’s, moved indoors due to the rain. About 400 people attended the event, which featured a DJ, raffles and T-shirt and bracelet sales.

The event was planned by a volunteer committee chaired by Brenda Malavet.

St. Martin’s will close its 100th anniversary celebration with a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Nelson Perez on Saturday, Oct. 14. ••
