David Picariello has been taking perfect shots all year. Exactly what you’re looking for when it comes to sports. The Father Judge High School junior has been taking pictures for the Crusaders this year, and on Saturday he shot Judge’s victory over La Salle in the Catholic League championship games. Here is a quick bio on Dave, along with some of the best shots he got during the game. Judge beat La Salle 3-2. Great work Dave!
“I am from Mayfair and I am going into senior year at Father Judge. I am looking to major in either Digital Media or photography. I started by taking pictures of Romans Soccer team my friend had played for them and I had just gotten a camera. I didn’t do much sports photography after that until I photographed a Judge lacrosse game. The response from all of the players was amazing. After that it just took off, soon after I was the photographer for most of Judge’s sports teams. Originally, I never wanted to be a sports photographer, but after just a few games of doing it, my whole mindset changed. Being able to make high schoolers look and feel like superstars is something like I really like about photography. My goal for the future is to either be a graphic designer or a photographer for a major sports team.
