The Bridge Educational Foundation, through the support of Malady & Wooten, Penn Jersey Paper and Waste Management, recently donated $213,000 in scholarships to Philadelphia families.

Scholarship funds are made possible through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit programs.

The donation took place at Nazareth Academy High School. Bridge Educational Foundation officials were joined by Judy Archibald, of Waste Management, and Dennis Giorno, a St. Jerome and Father Judge graduate who represented Malady & Wooten.

State Reps. Martina White and Pat Gallagher and City Councilman Mike Driscoll were also in attendance.

Schools that were represented were Father Judge, St. Hubert, Nazareth Academy High School, Neumann-Goretti, Cristo Rey, Girard College, St. Martha, St. Jerome, Gesu, St. Raymond of Penafort and KenCrest Early Learning Center. ••
