Newman was wanted for his involvement in the assault of an unidentified male that occurred on Sunday, June 4, at 1 a.m., on the 14000 block of Bustleton Ave. (at Philmont Avenue) during a “car meet.”

The assault took place as a large crowd watched cars recklessly doing “doughnuts” and “drifting” in the middle of the intersection. ••
