Picnic for veterans, thanks to Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus St. John Neumann Assembly #933 held its annual picnic on Flag Day for residents and staff members of the Delaware Valley Veterans Home.

Donations from individuals and businesses made the barbecue possible.

The Knights would like to thank the following for their donations: Sen. Jim Dillon, state Rep. Joe Hohenstein, T.J. Fluehr Funeral Home, MEI Catering, ShopRite Bensalem, ShopRite Bridge and Harbison, Philly Beer Baron, Beer Plaza, Home Depot Bustleton Store, PJP Market  Frankford Avenue, St. Chris Council KOC and St. John Neumann Assembly KOC.

Matt Darragh, an aide to Dillon, spoke to residents and thanked them for their service. ••
