John Hunter got the job Monday.
By Friday, he was out.
Hunter was hired as the new baseball coach at Father Judge High School. On Friday, the position was once again posted after he was relieved of his duties.
Hunter was dismissed after it was discovered he posted some inappropriate comments on social media. The posts go back a number of years, but they included racially and homophobic phrases.
The North Catholic graduate was an assistant at St. Joe’s Prep before he took the Judge job.
The Crusaders needed a coach after Mike Metzger retired in June after leading Judge to a state championship and a Catholic League title.
