KleinLife and the Northeast Philadelphia Kehillah invited the community to celebrate the Jewish New Year 5784 with a preholiday celebration led by Rabbi Sandra Rosenthal Berliner, spiritual leader of the city’s largest senior center.
In addition to a program by the rabbi, there was a meal with traditional ethnic holiday foods capped off with music by Ken Ulansey and Phyllis Chapell.
Some 200 seniors were in attendance.
