The Men’s Club of Congregations of Shaare Shamayim sponsored a candidates forum on Sunday at the synagogue, 9768 Verree Road.
Those who spoke and answered questions were David Oh, Republican nominee for mayor; Gary Masino, Democratic challenger in the 10th Councilmanic District; Nina Ahmad, Jim Hasher and Drew Murray, all running for Council at large; Superior Court Judge Daniel McCaffery, running for Supreme Court; Jill Beck and Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Timika Lane, Democratic candidates for Superior Court; city elections commissioners Lisa Deeley and Seth Bluestein; Christy Brady, Democratic candidate for city controller; John Sabatina, Democratic candidate for register of wills; Aizaz Gill, representing Councilman Brian O’Neill (R-10th dist.); and Jenelle Lemon, representing Councilman Jim Harrity (D-at large). ••
