Greater Kensington String Band, based at 7235 Edmund St., placed ninth in today’s Mummers Parade.
GKSB’s theme was Tails of the Wild Frontier. Earlier in the day, the band gave a performance in the parking lot of St. Matthew Parish.
The champion was South Philadelphia String Band.
