Corinne Mundy was among the Cedar Crest College students who joined faculty and staff at the college’s second annual Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast to commemorate his legacy through speeches, performances and commitments to future acts of service. Mundy (class of ’24) choreographed a step dance performance and performed it with three other students.

• These local Delaware Valley University students were honored for academic achievement by being named to the dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester: Abigayle Carey, Juliette Citrigno, Caitlyn Clark, Amanda Crump, Madison Fischer, Emily Hamilton, Timothy Lyons, Robert McConnell, Bridgid Medina and Michael Rubino.

• A total of 1,494 students have been named to the dean’s list at East Stroudsburg University for the fall 2023 semester. The following local students were named to the list: Gianna Contrabasso, Zaynab Hajali, Channing Jackson, Jenna McKenzie, Lordly Monvil and Marykristina Taylor. Students make the list with a 3.50 quality point average or better.

Estefania Cenci was one of 15 Albright College second-year students taking part in a Sophomore Disney Leadership Experience at Albright and Walt Disney World over the Interim session (January 2024). Cenci is studying Game and Simulation Development at Albright.

• Commonwealth University congratulates more than 2,350 students who were named to the fall 2023 Dean’s List. To qualify for the list, the student must have earned a GPA of at least 3.50, on a 4.0 scale, in 12 or more semester hours of letter grades. Local students on the list are Kentavia Baines (Bloomsburg campus), James Bermudez (Lock Haven), Madison Brady (Bloomsburg), Kiera Cassidy (Bloomsburg), Cassidy Clarke (Mansfield) Kelsey Erwin (Bloomsburg), Michael Garozzo (Bloomsburg), Jane Hoger (Bloomsburg), Yeva Ladygina (Bloomsburg), Seth Maranuk (Lock Haven), Emmanuella Mensah (Bloomsburg), Kayla Rockey (Bloomsburg) and Jenna Simon (Lock Haven).

• Commonwealth University congratulates more than 775 students who were named to the fall 2023 president’s list. To qualify for the list, the student must have earned a GPA of 4.0 or higher in 12 or more semester hours of letter grades. Local students on the list are Carlie Ginter and Meghan Gontz, both of whom attend the Bloomsburg campus.

• More than 750 students were named to Alvernia University’s dean’s list for the fall 2023 semester, including Ebony Robinson, Rawan Qays and Navil Perez Lantigua. To be eligible for the list, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits. ••
