Tacony LAB Community Arts Center, 6918 Torresdale Ave., last week hosted a First Friday Community Appreciation Event.
The evening included make-and-take activities and light refreshments.
State Rep. Joe Hohenstein paid a visit.
There were also representatives of Tacony Library, the office of state Sen. Jim Dillon, Tacony Civic Association, Sons of Italy, Tacony Community Development Corporation, the Historical Society of Tacony, Glen Foerd on the Delaware, Riverfront North Partnership, the Autistic Art Coalition, Mayfair Business Improvement District and Mural Arts Philadelphia. ••
