Nazareth Academy High School announced the appointment of Theresa Ennis as Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs. Ennis had been serving as Academic Dean/Registrar since October, scheduling and providing academic opportunity for students.
Patricia Quinn, Nazareth’s principal, said, “I view education as a continuous process where daily reflection is paramount and affirms that students are the focus, and their successes are fundamental to the mission and outcome of the Academy. It will be an honor to work with Ms. Ennis on the academics for Nazareth students and their high school journey.”
Ennis has served as a faculty member since 2015. During that time, she has also been the Varsity Mathletes coach and Kairos co-coordinator from 2016-18.
“I look forward to impacting the Nazareth Academy education that integrates faith and knowledge. It is this moral compass which takes students beyond the classroom. With 16 years as a student of Catholic education, I fully believe in the wholesome experience that Nazareth offers. I hold Nazareth Academy dear to my heart, and I am excited to continue to foster the same faith-integrated education for years to come.”
School president Denise LePera said, “Joining the leadership team at Nazareth, Ms. Ennis will help unite our efforts to strengthen and enhance the kind of education, the result of which will be young women prepared to take their place as our leaders of the future. Together we will advance the mission and articulate the Catholic identity of Nazareth Academy with passion and vision while modeling faith-centered leadership.”
Ennis earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a focus in Secondary Education from Alvernia University. She is a graduate of Conwell-Egan High School and St. Mark Grade School. She lives in Bensalem and is getting married in June. ••
