• Nicole McLaughlin was among the 42 University of Scranton students inducted into Omega Beta Sigma, the women’s business honor society. Induction is open to students who major or minor in business, have at least sophomore academic standing and have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. McLaughlin is a sophomore majoring in health administration at the Jesuit university.
• The Department of Psychology at Kutztown University last week hosted its annual Psi Chi Induction and Student Awards Ceremony. The department awarded 11 seniors and one junior with departmental awards based on their individual achievements within the fields of research, fieldwork, internships, leadership, GPA and service. Alexa May was this year’s recipient of the Independent Research Award, which goes to the student who shows excellence in research projects conducted independently from a classroom experience or faculty research project.
• Kevin Kern graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida Campus in Port Orange, Florida. ••
