The Northeast Family YMCA, 11088 Knights Road, on Saturday hosted Healthy Kids Day. There was a petting zoo, moonbounce, face painting, balloon sculptures, tattoos, CPR training, vendors, food trucks, raffles, a DJ and an appearance by Blue, the Holy Family tiger mascot. State Rep. Ed Neilson and Sen. Jimmy Dillon cut the ribbon for the newly renovated gym, thanks to $100,000 in state funding. The gym has a new wood floor, backboards, mats and paint. ••
