• Almost 2,000 students have been named to the spring 2024 dean’s list at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the dean’s list, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60. • A number of local DeSales University students made the spring 2024 dean’s list. They are Breana Cahill (majoring in Sport and Exercise Physiology and Dance); Mary Alice Connolly (Healthcare Administration); Kylie DeLuca (Communication Sciences and Disorders); Jadlyn Domico (Nursing); Brianna Durante (Communication Sciences and Disorders); Megan Grogan (Theatre); Kayla Heron (Nursing); Deanna Hoch (Theatre); Erica Lazar (Medical Studies); Aislinn McFadden (Communication Sciences and Disorders); Molly McMahon (Nursing); Olivia Montvydas (Biochemistry Molecular Biology and Neuroscience); Briana Myers (Theatre); Julianna Nocito (Healthcare Administration); Joseph Reteneller (Accounting); Simi Sabu (Medical Studies); Patrick Smith (Computer Science); Kevin Trahey (Sport and Exercise Physiology); Grace Vendetta (TV/Film); and Anna Zach (Dance).
• A total of 1,404 students were named to the dean’s list at East Stroudsburg University for the spring 2024 semester. Local members of the list are Gianna Contrabasso (psychology major), Sydney Hall (Public Health), Channing Jackson (criminal justice), Ahmarri Jenkins (Middle Level Education, 4th-8th), Gianna Mascaro (sport management), Jenna McKenzie (nursing), Lordly Monvil (undeclared), Zierrah Perry (nursing), Stephen Pownall (criminal justice) and Kintae Williams (business management).
• Makayla Egolf excelled during the spring 2024 semester at Hofstra, earning a spot on the dean’s list. Students must have a GPA of 3.5 to make the list. Egolf’s major is Psychology.
• Irish McCuen-O’Connor graduated cum laude with a degree in Health Sciences from James Madison. McCuen-O’Connor was among about 4,500 students who received undergraduate and graduate degrees. She was a member of the president’s list for the spring semester. To achieve that, a student must take at least 12 credits and earn a GPA or at least 3.900.
• Grace Brown and Jessica Barr were named to the dean’s list at Washington College (Maryland). To earn this academic honor, a student must achieve at least a 3.50 GPA for the semester.
• SaiBreah Edwards was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest all-discipline collegiate honor society. Edwards was initiated at Clark Atlanta University. Edwards is among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year.
• Devon Levin, a Forensic Chemistry major and member of the Class of 2026 at York College, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester.
• Michaela Donnelly was among some 215 students who received diplomas at Marietta College (Ohio). Donnelly earned a degree in Global Leadership Studies and Political Science and graduated Cum Laude. Donnelly is also a graduate of Science Leadership Academy.
• More than 750 students were named to Alvernia’s dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester. To be eligible for the list, students must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits. Local members of the list are Ian Hendrix (majoring in Health Care Science); Navil Perez Lantigua (majoring in Biochemistry); and Rawan Qays (majoring in Healthcare Administration).
• The University of Rhode Island announced that Molly McDonagh has been named to the spring 2024 dean’s list. To be included on the dean’s list, students must have completed 12 or more credits and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.
• More than 15,000 University of Maryland Global Campus students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2024 term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC. The following area students earned the honor: Shaylene Brown, Rikka Louise Chan, Richard Curry, Brian Gavin, Gabriela Jimenez and Sabrina Saidoun.
• Jessica Angelucci achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA during the spring 2024 semester, earning a spot on the provost’s list at Hofstra University. Angelucci’s major is Filmmaking.
• Gia Schmidt has been named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the spring 2024 semester. Students who earn dean’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.5 to 3.899. Schmidt is majoring in General Psychology. ••
