The Fraternal Order of Police Pennsylvania State Lodge re-elected Pine Valley resident Joseph Regan, a retired Lower Merion Township Police Department patrolman, to serve another term as president. The entire Regan slate won the election and will serve two years in office. The election concluded the PA FOP’s conference in Bethlehem.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve another term as Pennsylvania’s FOP State Lodge president,” Regan said. “This past year, we dedicated ourselves to providing the essential training and education for policing in the current climate. I look forward to working with our leadership team to continue our mission of protecting those who protect us every day as well as actively recruiting the next generation of heroes.”
Regan, a 1979 Father Judge graduated, retired from the Lower Merion Police Department after serving 28 years. He served as president of Lower Merion FOP Lodge 28 for four terms and as recording secretary, financial secretary and guard for the state FOP. He was chairman of the PA FOP Legislative Committee and the executive director of the PA Foundation. He served on the National FOP Labor Committee and as chairman of the National FOP Recruitment and Retention Committee. He is also president of the Montgomery County Police Memorial Committee. ••
