The Far Northeast Small Business Association will meet again on Thursday, Aug. 22, at 6 p.m. at Paddy Whacks Irish Sports Pub, 9241 Roosevelt Blvd.
The FNESBA sees itself as an advocacy group to help businesses recover, revitalize and re-establish after the COVID mandates.
Those businesses include the local restaurant, dry cleaner, bakery, pub, church, synagogue, mosque, barber, nail salon, hairdresser, pub, gym and fitness center, movie theater, museums and art galleries, amusement parks, banquet halls, wedding, bowling alley, tattoo parlor, dance studio and boutique.
The FNESBA believes small businesses need to adopt innovative strategies to recover and thrive in the post-pandemic economy.
Key strategies include embracing E-commerce; accessing grants and funding opportunities; restructuring and diversification; enhancing digital skills and technology adoption; and community engagement and support.
The group’s services include mentorship, workshops, advocacy and networking events. There are 10 committees.
