Refugee children celebrate

Children sing God Bless America.

Russian, Ukrainian and Israeli refugee children and their families celebrated their experiences at KleinLife, 10100 Jamison Ave., after leaving war-torn regions of the world.

Youngsters performed dances and songs such as God Bless America and the Ukrainian and Israeli national anthems.

KleinLife has served as a welcoming center for the refugees, providing assistance with finding housing and employment for the adults, while the children have been participating in the center’s before- and after-school program that included hot meals and education counseling and tutoring.

KleinLife has raised funds to sustain and support the children and their families through its Grow Hope campaign and is trying to sustain that program and services to its families through the I & R Psychological Services. ••
