Hoagie man Dennis Fink is a loyal customer of Tate’s Good Food Restaurant, and he recently invited all of his customers to enjoy Sunday breakfast with him.
Fink owns Fink’s Hoagies, 4633 Princeton Ave. in Tacony. Tate’s is at 8419 Torresdale Ave. in Holmesburg.
Fink said small businesses are the keystones of neighborhoods and the backbone of the nation’s economic system
When he’s not working on Sundays, Fink eats breakfast at Tate’s and has gotten to know owners Joe and Angel Glinkowski, who have owned the eatery – which opened in the 1980s – for five years.
Fink said he and the Glinkowskis share the same business ideals, that is to offer the best food at the best prices.
The Fink’s owner bought coffee for all his customers who stopped by Tate’s.
Among those stopping by for breakfast were City Councilman Mike Driscoll and state Sen. Jimmy Dillon and their chiefs of staff, Tom Forkin and Matt Darragh.
Tate’s opens daily at 6 a.m. and serves breakfast and lunch, also offering weekday delivery, catering and gift certificates. ••
