The day included face painting and caricatures.

The Block Gives Back held its annual Block 2 School celebration on the 6800 block of Torresdale Ave.

The group distributed school backpacks to students filled with notebooks, folders, pencils, pencil cases, rulers, crayons, glue sticks and hand sanitizer.

The day also featured a DJ, dunk tank, grilled food, video games, inflatables, water ice, face painting, cornhole and an appearance by the Claymobile.

Among those in attendance were state Sen. Jimmy Dillon and state Rep. Pat Gallagher. ••
