Members from the General Building Contractors Association’s Construction Leadership Council, a group of developing industry professionals, recently visited Mayfair Elementary School’s Career Training Education program and donated $3,340 to the program.
The donation helps further the program’s impact, bringing valuable trade education to the students.
CLC members Christina Leader and Kaitlin Carpenter joined an episode of The Dope Student Podcast, a student-run podcast at Mayfair Elementary, to share their personal experience working in Philadelphia’s construction industry and the career opportunities that are available in the trades industry. ••
