Philadelphia police are investigating a fatal stabbing that left a 59-year-old man dead in an apartment on the 9600 block of Bustleton Avenue.
The gruesome discovery was made on Tuesday afternoon, December 31, 2024, when officers responded to reports of a body inside the residence.
According to authorities, the victim was found in the kitchen with 15 to 20 stab wounds.
Medics, who arrived before police, pronounced the man dead at approximately 3:52 p.m.
No weapon was recovered at the scene, and no arrests have been made so far.
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case and has urged anyone with information to come forward.
