The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that PennDOT maintenance crews will be working on more than 30 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
The Philadelphia region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.
