The Philadelphia Eagles are heading into the 2025 NFL season as the defending Super Bowl LIX champions. They defeated the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this year to earn their second title in franchise history. Now, with expectations high, the Eagles will face one of the NFL’s toughest schedules, ranked fourth overall with a 2024 opponent win percentage of .561. They’ll play ten teams that made the playoffs last season.
Their schedule includes five prime-time games, a Black Friday appearance, a Super Bowl rematch, and multiple games with potential playoff implications. Let’s go through their full 2025 schedule in order, starting with the preseason.
Starting with the preseason, the Eagles have three games. All will be shown locally on NBC10:
- Week 1: Thursday, August 7 – vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 7:30 PM (NBC10)
- Week 2: Saturday, August 16 – vs. Cleveland Browns, 1:00 PM (NBC10)
- Week 3: Friday, August 22 – at New York Jets, 7:30 PM (NBC10)
These games will help evaluate players like linebacker Nakobe Dean, who may still be recovering, and new additions in the secondary like Cooper DeJean.
Moving into the regular season, the Eagles begin with a high-profile matchup:
- Week 1: Thursday, September 4 – vs. Dallas Cowboys, 8:20 PM (NBC)
The Eagles will open the NFL season at home against Dallas in the traditional Kickoff Game, which is also a prime-time matchup and a division rivalry. Dallas added wide receiver George Pickens in the offseason.
