Socks for the Streets and the Northeast Coalition sponsored an event to honor and remember loved ones lost to overdose.

The event took place in the 8th Police District parking lot and featured resource tables, face painting and a butterfly release to mark a life gone too soon.

Among those in attendance was City Councilman Mike Driscoll. ••
