Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic announced that Cathy Cardillo, the health system’s regional director of Advocacy, has been chosen as one of two recipients for the 2025 American Hospital Association Political Action Committee Most Valuable PAC Player Award.
Each year, the AHAPAC, in partnership with The Hospital and Healthsystem Association’s political action committee, selects one or two Pennsylvania hospital leaders to receive the MVPP, which recognizes outstanding efforts in elevating the hospital community’s political advocacy.
“Congratulations to Cathy for receiving this prestigious award,” says Andre (Dre) Boyd Sr., FACHE, regional president and CEO at Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic. “Her unwavering commitment to advancing health care policy and her tireless efforts on behalf of patients and caregivers alike truly embodies the values we strive for every day. We are proud to celebrate her leadership and the impact she continues to make on our community and beyond.”
Cardillo was presented with the award during the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania Leadership Summit in Hershey on May 12.
“Cathy is a passionate champion for Pennsylvania hospitals and inspires the leaders and team at Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic to engage in advocacy protecting access to high-quality health care,” said Nicole Stallings, president and CEO at HAP. “We are pleased to recognize her as a 2025 Most Valuable PAC Player.”To learn more about advocacy efforts at Trinity Health, visit https://www.trinity-health.org/our-impact/advocacy. ••
