Avonna is a beautiful Neapolitan Mastiff who is about 4-5 years old. She adores people and is the sweetest, happiest girl. Avonna was underweight, overbred and desperately in need of TLC. Unfortunately, she went without proper care for her skin and eyes for too long. She had successful entropion repair, but will need eye drops likely for life due to scarring they endured prior to surgery. She does at times need guidance due to her hindered sight but once she knows the area with time she thrives.
Avonna is fostered with other large dogs and could live with dog-savvy cats and older children. She isn’t a fan of sharing her dog bed, and requests to eat separately from other dogs. Avonna is not suited for a life that requires a number of steps and long walks to use the bathroom. She is generally low energy with the occasional play and has truly been thriving in foster care.
