Impeach Trump
I recently heard and saw President Trump speak at West Point’s graduation ceremony. As a daughter of a World War II veteran, I was appalled and disgusted to see the president wearing a red MAGA hat and inveighing against “diversity, equity and inclusion” while glorifying “crushing and killing.” A few days later, he further disrespected and sullied the office of president while giving a Memorial Day speech where he railed against President Biden and called the Democrats “scum” and federal judges “monsters.”
At the annual Memorial Day concert, the commandants of all the military services were honored. Thanks to Trump, they were all white men. He fired Air Force Gen. C.Q. Brown, an African American who was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Adm. Linda Lee Fagan, Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard, soon after taking office. Why? Because of their “excess focus on DEI.”
When the Supreme Court ruled that Harvard University could not use affirmative action to secure a diverse student body, they left intact the ability of West Point and the other military academies to continue the use of affirmative action. Why? Because they believed it was important for the military to reflect the diversity of the United States. Now this president is not only employing his personal racism and misogyny, but weakening our military and our country. He needs to be impeached.

We’re still a sanctuary city
Philadelphia changing from a sanctuary city to a welcoming city is typical Democratic Party semantics. “Illegal immigrant” equals “undocumented immigrant.” It’s the same thing by another name. “Welcoming City” is not going to change the city’s policies in the handling of the illegal immigrants. This is why the Democrats lost the last election. They think people are stupid. People know “Welcoming City” is the same as “Sanctuary City.” They did the same thing to Aunt Jemima. It’s still the same pancake mix no matter what you call it.

Stop killing one another
It was mournful to hear that Philadelphia rapper LGP Qua, who had a good musical message and a role model attitude, was murdered in Juniata Park on Mother’s Day.
After watching the news of Qidere “LGP Qua” Johnson’s shooting, it is shocking that our very own people would target Qidere in that way. Knowing that he was probably in the neighborhood and just wanted to attack him.
It has been reported of a robbery gone wrong basically. It is terrible that someone who demonstrated leadership qualities of the City of Philadelphia was killed. His brand alone calling himself the voice of the youth was a strong message and used the platform to push change, too.
Our Philadelphia community needs to really come together. Meek Mill provided mentorship to LGP Qua. On Meek Mill’s social media, he said about Johnson being ambitious and to collect these guns off the streets because the gun violence is sad out here.
That is the type of messaging we need to have more often. The killings that keep involving our own race is just crazy and it has been for years.
We really do not have to be killing one another. Life is tough and has triumph and everything but the anger we hold sometimes is not good at all. Street therapy is needed more frequently in today’s time.

Let’s unite to benefit the economy
We continue to ask America’s businesses to promote “American made” on their labels and packaging. In addition to urging America’s school boards and teachers to promote practical job skills, we need America’s engineers, Realtors and investors to unite to help rebuild America’s industries and create millions of new jobs in the United States. Uniting all entities will help private sector businesses bring America’s industries back to life, which will benefit all Americans.
It’s time for America’s Realtors to showcase properties where businesses can manufacture, distribute, promote and sell their American-made products. It’s time for engineers to provide ways to improve America’s manufacturing techniques to improve their ability to compete in a global economy. It’s time for investors to invest in America’s business infrastructure and create all levels of employment opportunities. Getting everyone to see the benefit of doing business in America is then up to you and I, America’s consumers, who have the ability to keep American-made products moving off store shelves, which will create more job opportunities for American workers.
After years of discussing the employment situation in America, we all see there is absolutely no reason for the United States to be the sales point for foreign-made items while tens of millions of Americans remain unemployed or underemployed.
In order to get more people involved, you’re asked to spread the word about the positive efforts of the Buy American Made Campaign so that America’s elected leaders, teachers, engineers, Realtors, investors, business owners and workers become the united force behind America’s economy. Thanks for your help and participation. Your comments and suggestions are welcome. Email them to [email protected].
