Christian Lambie, a member of the class of 2026 majoring in Robotics Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (Massachusetts), was a member of a student team that recently completed a professional-level research-driven project titled “Enhancing Biological Recording using smartphone apps.”

Sabrina Overton earned a degree in Associate General Studies from Trine University (Indiana).

• A total of 1,741 students were named to the dean’s list at East Stroudsburg University for the spring 2025 semester.Local members of the list are Natalyn Dennis (Communication major), Jaliene Dominguez (Criminal Justice), Shanya Ellensworth (Nursing), Jenna Jeffcoat (Psychology), Gianna Mascaro (Sport Management), Kathryn McDougall (Undeclared), Jenna McKenzie (Nursing), Stephen Pownall (Sport Management), Erykah Pressley (Business Management), Marykristina Taylor (Social Work).

Hannah Klevans was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s dean’s list for the spring semester. Klevans is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Students taking undergraduate courses who have earned at least 12 credits and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher are on the dean’s list.

• Widener University celebrated the achievements of 897 Chester-campus graduates.

Local graduates were Jared Borge (criminal justice degree), Maggie Rose Boyes (master’s in Organizational Development & Leadership with a specialization in Human Resources Leadership), Kalise Butler (psychology), Madison Carsley (criminal justice), Rosie Chau (nursing), Patrick Darrah (mechanical engineering), Hannah Dunne (elementary education PK-4 and special education PK-12), Andrea Edwards (Liberal Studies), Colleen Flowers (Allied Health), Alexis Frederick-Bouy (master’s in Human Sexuality Studies Sex Education), Paul Grace (Master of Social Work Full-Time), Shayne Kaminski (Doctor of Occupational Therapy), Dariel Mejia (electrical engineering), Stephanie Moran (Allied Health), Melina Morrow (psychology), Emily Pitcherello (Business Administration in Analytics), Joana Qirici (nursing), Cindy Rios (psychology), Mia-Claire Sacco (Business Administration in Marketing), Sergio Santiago (mechanical engineering), Emma Schultz (nursing), Courtney Schwegler (mechanical engineering), Aidan Soska (Business Administration in Sport and Event Management), Jenna Waldron (biology) and David Wyszynski (mechanical engineering).

Kaci Fitz-Gerald has been named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the spring semester. Students who earn dean’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.5 to 3.899. Fitz-Gerald is majoring in Health Sciences. ••
