Cardiology practice opens

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group announced the formation of a new cardiology medical practice to serve the communities of Nazareth Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.

The new practice, named Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group Cardiology, offers two locations: 2630 Holme Ave. and 1203 Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne. Providers from Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group Cardiology are accepting new patients in both offices.

The expanded practice is comprised of longtime Nazareth and St. Mary medical cardiologists and interventional cardiologists as well as newly hired providers, bringing an interdisciplinary approach to heart and vascular care across Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery counties. The group is led by Dr. Sunil Dhar, MD, who serves as regional cardiology medical director for the group. Other providers rounding out the practice include:

• Hitesh Raheja, MD, interventional cardiology, director of cardiac structural heart

• Anand Haridas, MD, cardiology, director of non-invasive imaging

• Ashwani Gupta, MD, electrophysiology

• Todd Nixon, MD, cardiothoracic

• Maxim Gluhovski, MD, cardiothoracic

• Westley Smith, MD, vascular

• Daniel Vile, DO, cardiology

• Syed Hussain, MD, interventional cardiology

• Jonathan Gold, MD, interventional cardiology

• Robert MacMillan, MD, cardiology

• Vincent Figueredo, MD, cardiology

•Robert Singer, MD, cardiology

• James Kilcoyne, DO, cardiology

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group Cardiology also brings an expansion of services, including cardiac MRI. Other cardiology services offered include medical, interventional, electrophysiology, imaging and cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. The group has plans to add further medical innovations in the near future, with a focus on robotic surgery.
