The Block Gives Back held a grand reopening of its Block Shop, 6831 Torresdale Ave.

The Block Gives Back was joined by state Sen. Joe Picozzi, Northeast Together and Sarah Steese, community engagement liaison for the district attorney’s office.

The day included free grilled hot dogs and cheeseburgers and giveaways of sneakers and shoes. ••
