DiSanto spoke of two recent shootings, one on the 6500 block of Horrocks St. and the other on the 6100 block of Summerdale Ave. In both cases, the victims have been uncooperative with police.

Mroz said officers assigned to school beats will now be assigned to local public swimming pools during the summer.

The Lawncrest 4th of July Celebration will take place this year on July 5. The event will include fireworks.
